Chevron Sheepskin Rug
Chevron is a study in rhythm and surface. Defined by a classic V-shaped pattern, the design alternates between raised and lower sections, creating a quiet interplay of depth rather than a strong visual contrast. The geometry is familiar, yet the execution feels restrained and contemporary, allowing the material to remain at the center of the composition.
The elevated sections of the pattern are crafted from Burgundy-quality sheepskin, selected for its rich texture and natural presence. Between these higher elements, softer low-pile areas in muton quality introduce a subtle variation in height and feel. This difference is intentional but never exaggerated. Instead of sharp transitions, the surface reads as continuous, with the pattern emerging through touch and light rather than contrast alone.
As a sheepskin rug, Chevron avoids decorative excess. The V-shaped structure brings a sense of order and direction to the surface, while the materials keep the overall impression calm and grounded. From a distance, the rug appears composed and architectural; up close, the shifts in pile height become more apparent, adding nuance and tactility without disrupting the design.
Chevron is designed for high-end interior design environments where geometry is used as a structural element rather than a statement. It works particularly well in contemporary residential interiors, private lounges, and refined commercial spaces where quiet luxury defines the atmosphere. The pattern interacts naturally with linear furniture, clean architectural volumes, and layered neutral palettes.
Despite its structured appearance, the rug remains soft underfoot. The combination of pile heights introduces comfort while maintaining visual discipline, making Chevron suitable for spaces that balance function and design.
Each Chevron sheepskin rug is produced as a bespoke piece. Custom size, shape, and color options are available, allowing the design to adapt to specific spatial requirements. As with all pieces in the collection, only premium-quality furs are used, ensuring consistency, longevity, and a refined finish.
Crafted from natural sheep fur, the Burgundy Chamarel lambfur rug offers insulation and hypoallergenic properties, making it a practical and healthy addition to your home. For more inspiration on luxurious rug designs, explore Rug Society’s guide on elevating interiors with elegant rugs here.

UNBOXING
When you first received your rug package, do not go too deep if you use a sharp tool while unpacking the cardboard package.
When you receive your rugs, you can see creases developed during shipping. This is natural for all shearling rugs and will disappear in a short while when you unfold and spread the rug.
PLACEMENT
We highly recommend not using your rugs in areas that take direct sunlight. All shearling and leather rugs may show discoloration in the long term if used in direct sunlight.
The legs of items such as armchairs, coffee tables, etc. placed on the rugs may cause dents on the rugs in the long term. You can smooth these areas by hand-rubbing or gently combing. We recommend avoiding excessively hard rubbing when combing or rubbing.
If the rugs, placed in showrooms, etc. kept too close to powerful light sources like spotlights, etc., they may discolor in the long run. You can avoid this issue by placing the rugs a little away from the light source.
CLEANING
Sweeping or brushing is recommended for cleaning. Strong suction vacuum cleaners can be used, too. However, we never recommend using beater brush vacuum cleaners since they may cause hair loss on your natural fur carpets.
Wool and natural fur carpets are naturally stain-resistant to a certain extent. However, if any stain occurs on your rug, absorb the stain with an absorbent cloth or tissue immediately and clean the remaining stain with a damp cloth by gently rubbing it. We recommend using dish soap or carpet foam for cleaning. Never use strong chemicals such as bleach, laundry detergent, vinegar, etc. Never rub or wipe carpets vigorously. If there is a stain that you cannot remove, simply get help from an expert carpet cleaner or a dry cleaner.
STORING
Rugs should be stored in a rolled and upright position in a cool and dry place when they are not in use.
