SHEEPSKIN FUR RUGS
Care & Cleaning Instructions

UNBOXING

Use caution when opening the package—do not cut too deeply with sharp tools.

Creases or folds from shipping are normal. Unfold and lay the rug flat; it will relax over time.

PLACEMENT

Avoid placing sheepskin rugs in direct sunlight. Natural wool and leather may discolor when exposed to prolonged sunlight.

Furniture legs (e.g., chairs, coffee tables) can leave dents in the pile.
Restore by gently smoothing with your hand or lightly combing the area.
Avoid excessive rubbing.

Keep rugs away from strong artificial light sources (such as spotlights), as they can cause discoloration over time.

CLEANING

For regular care, sweep, brush, or vacuum with strong suction (without a beater bar). Beater brush vacuums may damage the fibers.

Wool and sheepskin are naturally stain-resistant, but if a spill occurs:

Blot immediately with an absorbent cloth or paper towel.

Gently clean any residue with a damp cloth and mild soap (e.g., dish soap) or carpet foam.

Do not use harsh chemicals such as bleach, laundry detergent, or vinegar.

Avoid vigorous scrubbing or rubbing.

For stubborn stains, contact a professional carpet cleaner or dry cleaner experienced with natural sheepskin.

STORING

Store rugs rolled (not folded), upright, in a cool and dry place when not in use
